Chief Executive Officer -- William (Bill) Smithers III (company founder)
An active leader within the local home building community, Bill has 20 years of experience in both production and custom home building companies.
Bill is a founding partner of University Homes in Northern Virginia, and was named Custom Builders Council Homebuilder of the Year in 2003.
Previously, Bill was the Chairman of the Custom Builders Council, the Chairman of the NAHB Builder 20 Club and was a Division President at Ryland Homes.

Chief Operating Officer -- Brian Pavlick
Brian joined CBUSA in January of 2006 from a project management position at John Wieland Homes.  He was responsible for the general management of building products distribution and installation labor profit centers.  He previously served in the United States Army.
Brian earned a B.S. from the United States Military Academy and an MSCE from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Chief Financial Officer -- Brendan Sheehan
Brendan joined CBUSA in July of 2006 from Boston Consulting Group, where he provided detailed financial forecasting and strategic planning for an international automotive parts supplier. He previously served in the United States Army.
Brendan earned a B.S. from the United States Military Academy and an MBA from Northwestern University (Kellogg School of Management).
